Are you an experienced youth worker looking for a new challenge? We are currently hiring for Teaching Assistant’s for a number of secondary schools in the Oldham area. You will be working predominantly one on one with children who need a bit of extra support, either academically or behaviourally. Main responsibilities:
- Supporting children who may be struggling with their learning
- Encouraging a positive learning environment
- Supporting teachers with the delivering of lessons and behaviour management
Requirements:
- Previous experience working with children
- Subject to clearance of a child only DBS check registered on the update service
- Kind and patient nature, with a passion for delivering outstanding care to children
- Team player

This is a full-time role starting in September, with immediate work for those who already obtain a child only DBS certificate. Part-time roles will also be considered.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
