We are currently working with an alternative provision in Fulford, York. They are currently looking to recruit a behaviour teaching assistant who has strong behaviour management.

This educational facility caters for KS1 to KS4 pupils that have been excluded from mainstream schools or are unable to access mainstream settings due social emotional and mental health needs. The school is a welcoming and vibrant place to work and it offers significant opportunities for professional development for anyone who is committed to working with vulnerable young people.

Key skills and experience needed:

  • Teaching Assistant/Youth Worker/Psychology Graduate/Support Worker
  • Strong behaviour management or experience working with pupils who have SEMH
  • One to one and small group work
  • Professional manor
  • Enthusiasm and friendly approach
