We are recruiting for a confident and enthusiastic individual to join the staff at this ‘Good’ Ofsted rated Primary schoo in Middleton to start ASAP. This role is to provide additional support for pupils who have been affected by lockdown and learning from home.
As a Year 1 Teaching Assistant, you would assist the Teacher in class with general duties. These will include supporting identified pupils with their Maths, English, Phonics etc and run separate small groups or 1:1 interventions for both high and low achievers in class. You will also help teach children to become confident, responsible and caring members of the school and community.
The Role:
- Withdrawal and intervention groups focusing on Phonics, Literacy and Numeracy
- General Teaching Assistant duties, supporting the Teacher in the classroom
The Person:
- Experience of working with Key Stage 1 children in a primary school
- Must have confidence to deliver Literacy and Numeracy intervention groups in particular
- Good classroom control and behaviour management
- Teachers looking to work as a TA welcomed to apply

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
