Teaching Personnel is currently recruiting for Special Needs Teaching Assistants to support mainstream Kent schools.

Desired Skills/Qualifications

  • Team Teach Qualification (not essential)
  • ABA Programme/Intervention knowledge
  • Experience of working within a SEN environment including ASD and SLD/complex needs or have previous transferable experience within SEN whether this be within mainstream education or outside of education
  • To be able to offer specialist SEN skills such as manual handling, moving & lifting, PECs, and Sign-a-long, would be an advantage, although not essential.

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
