Job description

A Primary Special Educational Needs School for pupils with severe, profound and multiple learning difficulties and autism in Radcliffe, Bury are hoping to recruit an SEN Teaching Assistant to work on a supply basis in the school. All pupils attending the school have statements of special educational needs indicating profound and complex needs, severe learning difficulties or autistic spectrum conditions. Many pupils have additional physical or medical needs.

The Bury school will offer the successful Teaching Assistant a fantastic opportunity to work in an Ofsted rated 'outstanding school'. The school also offers the successful Teaching Assistant a personally rewarding position with a competitive Teaching assistant rate.

The ideal Candidate for the Primary school in Bury will have a solid experience of supporting children with complex needs, however if you feel you have the right attitude to work within an SEN setting please don't hesitate to contact me. All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
