Teaching Assistant- Warrington

Teaching Personnel are working in partnership with a high achieving secondary school in Warrington to source the support of a Teaching Assistant to start immediately.

The role of a Teaching Assistant within our partnership school is a varied one as you will be expected to work with 1-to-1 with identified pupils and with small intervention groups. This is to ensure that all pupils regardless of ability level are able to effectively overcome barriers to learning. You will also be expected to cover lessons across all subject areas in the absence of the teachers whenever necessary. This provides fantastic career progression opportunities as you will take responsibility of leading full classes by delivering pre-set work.

Our partner school is a highly inclusive and supportive school making it the perfect environment to develop within. The Senior Leadership are very passionate about giving every pupil the opportunity to fulfil their potential. Consequently the support team are valued members of the school's staff and are led effectively by an experienced Special Education Needs Co-ordinator (SENCO).

It is located close to Warrington town centre which means it is very accessible from the surrounding areas of Great Sankey and Penketh. It is also only a short drive away from the areas on the Wigan border such as Golborne, Lowton and Ashton-in-Makerfield.

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.
