A wonderful school in Walthamstow are looking to take on additional support for the New Year.

An SEN school based in Walthamstow are looking to appoint Behaviour mentors and teaching assistants to support students with challenging behaviour and emotional difficulties. This specialist school is seeking individuals who are passionate about supporting young people with a statement of special educational needs.

Behaviour mentors and teaching assistants who will be considered for this role are those who have a background in youth work, SEN experience, music background and experience in coaching. Team Teach training would be of huge benefit for this role. If you have not completed the training it is offered through our agency.

About the School:

  • Communication difficulties visual and hearing impairments

The school are looking for:

  • Outgoing personality
  • Build good rapport with students
  • Previous experience with an SEN school/youth setting
  • Team Teach trained
  • Sports/music/arts background
