Teaching Assistant Vacancy

Job description

Teaching Personnel are on the hunt for enthusiastic teaching assistants looking to work alongside ASC children with severe learning difficulties. While this work is more challenging role it is a highly rewarding one; really being able to make an impact on these children and help them grow.

Teaching Personnel work with a variety of large SEN schools across the South Wales area and know that SEN teaching assistants are in demand! The schools we work with will consider applicants with experience with SEN children and who have the right attitude.

The role will be to support pupils with a diagnosis of Autism, but the children may have various other learning difficulties such as, MLD, SLD, PMLD, PD and working with some challenging behaviour units, therefore you must have the ability to differentiate your work.
The school are ideally looking for a candidate who is adaptable, enthusiastic and have the ability to build rapport quickly with both pupils and staff.
Class sizes are smaller than mainstream schools and there will be support in the classroom from Teachers and HLTA's so you really will have the opportunity to make a difference!

We do offer both short and long-term work so if you're interested please do get in touch!

I look forward to hearing from you!
