A 2-19 special needs school in the London Borough of Camden pupils. The school have high expectations for our pupils and are committed to collaborative working in order to achieve the best possible outcomes and to maximise their opportunities. We believe that education for our pupils is about preparation for life and feel very privileged to be able to support them to realise their potential. We believe that children who enjoy their education will engage with learning. Every child is unique and with the right interventions and support, all young people can achieve.
The role will give you the opportunity to be trained, familiarised with the pupils, education framework and understand the school ethos/ policy. After the successful completion of the academic year you will then be given opportunities to go on permanent contract.
The school is a thriving and vibrant learning environment for secondary age students with learning difficulties, where all students are challenged to work to the very best of their ability. We know that students learn best here when they feel safe, valued and can adopt a 'can do' attitude. Routines, understood and followed by all members of the school ensure a calm and consistent environment, alongside excellent behaviour management.
