Job description

We are looking for a professional and patient Special Needs Teaching Assistant to work at a Special Needs School in Maidenhead. This role requires you working closely with pupils with Autism and Speech Language Needs. You will be reporting to the SENCO and class teacher who will set your timetable and give you past reports and detailed assessments that will help you familiarise with the child's needs and current targets. The ideal candidate will be a reliable, innovative, and eager learner that wants to pursue a career in teaching.

The ideal candidate must have:

  • A Degree Level or a Teaching Assistant Qualification
  • At least 1+ years of experience working with SEN such as Autism (ASD) or Learning Difficulties
  • Confident writing reports
  • ABA Tutor Experience

You must be a UK resident or hold a full UK visa and be willing to complete a Disclosure Barring Service (DBS) check and register to the update service if you don't currently hold one.

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.
