SEN Teaching Assistant - Brent

I am currently working with a Primary school in the Brent area who are looking for a SEN Teaching Assistant working with children with Autism. The school is close to Harlesden Station with many bus routes nearby, which makes the school very easy to get to via public transport

The role consists of providing 1:1 and group support to children and the school benefits small class sizes and a highly unique approach to learning.

Ideal Candidate

- Have a proven record of supporting SEN students and have a basic understanding of PECS and Makaton.

- PMLD/SLD/MDVI and autism experience.

- We welcome Teaching Assistants with SEN experience to apply

- Good spoken and written English

- A valid DBS that is registered on the update service or willing to complete an application immediately

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
