Teaching Assistant - SEN

Job description

I am seeking an experienced Teaching Assistant for roles within Primary and Secondary SEN schools. Children in attendance will have a mixture of needs including Severe and Moderate Learning Difficulties, Autism and Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties.

The successful candidate will be required to work 08:30 - 15:30 Monday to Friday. Teaching Personnel are seeking people for this role who are willing to start work as soon as possible and who are going to get stuck in and willing to assist the pupils with their learning and development.

The TA will need to be confident enough to work in a challenging environment and be flexible to assist in a variety of situations.

Experience is necessary, a good understanding of Special Needs, along with a nurturing attitude is essential.

A minimum requirement of GCSE grades A-C in Maths and English is essential, and any other relevant qualifications such as Makaton or Team Teach training will be a bonus.
