Job description

Teaching Personnel are excited to be working with one of our partner primary schools in the NG16 area of Nottingham, who are currently seeking a Teaching Assistant to work alongside pupils with Special Educational Needs. The school is looking for an individual with experience who is happy to work with a varied range of pupils.

The ideal candidate is somebody who:

  • Has at least 1 years experience working in an SEN environment
  • Is confident working with pupils who are autistic/SLN/MLD
  • Can be flexible and innovative in their approach to teaching, whilst also following school policies
  • Is committed to helping pupils improve academically, as well as grow as individuals

The school in question can offer a group of pupils who are eager to learn, along with a friendly and supportive group of staff.

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
