Teaching Assistant SEN in Camden

SEN School looking for a Teaching assistant for a full time role in Camden, North West London.

Teaching assistant needed in an SEN school to be able to work with a range of complex needs, including Social Emotional and Mental Health, Autism across the spectrum and learning difficulties.

The school are looking for an individual who is passionate about working with SEN pupils and are willing to encourage pupils to work and achieve high standards of learning.

The ideal Teaching Assistant for this role:

  • provide support to autistic pupils
  • Provide personal care when needed
  • Experience working with SEN pupils or youth work
  • Can provide references from previous employment
  • Completed relevant training (Autism aw Autism Awareness, Moving and Handling, PECS, Makaton, BSL are all desirable but not essential)

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
