Teaching Assistant | Primary School | Doncaster


A fantastic opportunity has come up for a teaching assistant to work with autistic children for an immediate start at a supportive primary school in Doncaster for a long term role.

If you are looking for a teaching assistant role in East London working with autism then this is an excellent opportunity for you. This role would suit a Graduate who is looking to become a teacher in the future.

  • * Non-Verbal and Verbal Children - Teaching Assistant
  • * Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant for Early Years and Key Stage 1
  • * Long Term role in Doncaster - Teaching Assistant
  • *Small Group intervention Work as a Teaching Assistant
  • * Previous 1:1 experience with autistic children required
  • * Additional communication training such as Makaton and PECs a bonus

The role will be working in a medium-sized primary school within a large and well-resourced SEN provision. Applicants for this teaching assistant role should be exceptional communicators and strong team-players, able to fit in well with the supportive staff-team at the school.

The school caters for a wide range of Special Educational Needs, they have several children on the autistic spectrum and now need of a further addition to the team to work with children in Early Years and Key Stage 1.
