Job description

A Client School in Clayton (M11) are seeking a Term-Time special educational needs Teaching Assistant who has some experience working on a one to one basis with SEN pupils. This is a 2 form entry school with an average class size of 30 pupils with children from a variety of ethnic backgrounds, which wants to help disadvantaged pupils get the most out of their primary education.

The role is to work at a school has been rated 'OUTSTANDING' by Ofsted, which the right candidate would be working on a one to one basis with children with various Special Educational Needs in a large ethnic school, so some experience with EAL would be an advantage.

The Ideal candidate appointed will:

  • Be a Reliable, Dynamic and Caring individual
  • Have experience supporting children with ADHD, SEMH and EAL
  • Dedicated to work in a diverse Primary School with children from disadvantaged and ethnic backgrounds
