The learning support department within this mixed comprehensive Secondary school are seeking to appoint a Teaching Assistant, ideally with experience working with young people with Special Educational Needs (SEN) from May 2019 until the end of the academic year.

You will be working towards the support of pupils helping them develop, achieve and thrive within all aspects of learning on a full time basis; if you would like further information then please see the details below;.

  • Full time Teaching Assistant required from May 2019.
  • Must have previous experience working with young people within an Education capacity alongside experience working with Special Educational Needs (SEN).
  • Opportunity to work within an Ofsted graded 'Good' Secondary school.
  • Earn up to £57 - £75 per day.

The incoming Teaching Assistant will be reporting to the SENCO and Senior Leadership Teams throughout; supporting in all areas of the curriculum as required. You will also be working 1:1 and in small groups with identified pupils to maintain a stimulating learning environment.

Located in the Worsley region of Salford, the school was founded in 1957 and currently has just over 750 pupils on roll aged 11-16. The school has an outstanding reputation within the local community and actively promote the development and progression of all their staff and pupils.
