Teaching Assistant's required in Lymington

Teaching Personnel are currently working closely with a handful of Primary Schools in Lymington and the surrounding areas that require the immediate support of Level 2 and Level 3 Teaching Assistant's. This is an exciting opportunity for a driven individual who enjoys a challenge and wants to improve the quality of education for young pupils in the local area. The job role and benefits:

  • You will work under the instruction/guidance of the teacher and other senior staff members, to ensure the care and support of the pupils
  • You will help enable access to learning for the pupils and to assist the teacher in the management of their classroom
  • Will involve work within the classroom and outside the main teaching area
  • Working in a well respected primary school in the heart of the community
  • Excellent transport links
  • Supporting class teacher within a strong senior team

You will have:

  • Good literacy and numeracy skills
  • Level 2/3 NVQ for teaching assistants or equivalent, or have relevant work experience
  • Classroom based experience
  • Training or experience in relevant learning strategies
  • Shown initiative and be confident to get involved in all areas of the school
