About the School

This school is looking for eager new teaching assistant to join their team. The support staff at the school play a big part in the students development, given students the opportunity to take charge of their own futures as engaged and responsible citizens. They aim to sustain innovative teaching and strong and accountable leadership. This school looks to help children of all levels and ages to ensure every student has the same opportunities with expecting and supporting staff.

About the role

Teaching Assistant roles

Secondary school (KS3-5)

5 days a week

Temporary role of a length, 2 terms to 1 year

Expected to work on a 1:1 basis, in small groups and covering the class when needed

Teaching assistants will be expected to help and support those who struggle and raise attainment

Location

The school is accessible via Edgware underground (15 minute walk).

Requirements

Require experience working in secondary schools, KS3-KS5 level

A university degree would be preferred

Expect a enthusiastic and hardworking attitude

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
