Teaching Assistant - Rochdale

Are you a teaching assistant looking for flexible work in Secondary schools around Rochdale?

Teaching Personnel working with a number of schools around the Rochdale and Oldham, who are looking to recruit Teaching Assistants to support students with class work, support with extra-curricular activities and generally assist the class teacher. This is a fantastic opportunity for Teaching Assistants to work on a flexible basis, with both full time and part time work available.

  • Negotiable daily pay rates (Between £54 and £70 dependent on experience)

This role will suit a range of candidates; from new Teaching Assistants looking for their new role, to experienced Teaching Assistants looking for the flexibility that supply work provides. Working as a Teaching Assistant is a rewarding career, where you can make an impact to the lives of students daily. It is also a role where you have a range of different tasks to undertake, and gain experience in various parts of education including:

  • Assisting pupils on a 1:1 basis in an attempt to raise progress and attainment
  • Working with pupils in groups to support them in a range of subjects
  • Supporting the class teacher with the preparation and delivery of class work
  • Working with students with a variety of needs including learning, behaviour and SEN
