Job description

Teaching Assistant required for a Special Educational Needs (SEN) school based in Guildford.

This school caters for boys only ages 7-11 with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) and other associated learning difficulties. They are looking for a Teaching Assistant to be able to support this school offering therapeutic environment in small specialised groups as well as getting highly involved in sporting activities.

The successful candidate will be required to support and provide interventions to develop self-regulation and bridge the gaps in their learning. You will be committed to safeguarding and to promote the welfare of the pupils.

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
