Are you a Graduate looking to gain experience within a school located in the Oldham area? Or do you hold a Level 3 Teaching Assistant? Do you have a passion for supporting pupils? Are you looking to make a difference in pupils learning journeys?

If so a Good school as rated by Ofsted, located in the Oldham area is currently looking to appoint a Teaching Assistant to support pupils within their year class. Pupils within the class have some behavioural needs and have difficulties building relationships with others.

A successful applicant should:

  • Hold either an educational or psychological degree or a Level 3 qualification
  • Have experience working with pupils on a 1:1 or small group basis
  • Have a caring and understanding nature
  • Be approachable
  • Have strong communicational skills
  • Be experienced or have techniques in order to support pupils with behavioural difficulties
  • Be adaptable
  • Be able to support the school ethos and be able to become part of a strong supportive team

This role is perfect for any graduate looking to go on to complete a PGCE or who is looking to gain further experience of working within school in order to pursue a career in educational psychology.
