Teaching Assistant required in SEN School in Burnley

Job description

Teaching Personnel work closely with an SEN School based in the Burnley area which caters for KS3/4 pupils who have a range of additional needs including; PMLD, Physical Disabilities, Autism, ADHD and SEMH Difficulties. The School is smaller than average and caters for pupils with SEN and personal care will often be required.

The candidate suited to this role will have experience supporting children or adults with additional needs and have strong classroom management skills. The candidate will be enthusiastic, passionate about working with children with special educational needs and ideally, the candidate will be available full time and in a position to accept on the morning calls.

The role would be full time, school hours are 8.30am - 3.15pm Monday - Friday and candidates must be expected to provide personal care with pupils when required.

The School is based on the outskirts of Burnley, has ample on site parking and access to public transport.

The successful candidate will benefit from:

- Negotiable pay rates £54 - 64 per day
