Teaching Assistant required in SEN Provision!

Job description

Teaching Personnel work closely with a Rossendale based SEN School which caters for KS3/4 pupils who have SEMH Difficulties, Autism, Learning Difficulties and pupils who display challenging behaviours. The School is smaller than average and require candidates who have strong behaviour management skills. The School has approximately 45 male pupils on roll and the candidate will ideally hold a valid Team Teach qualification.

The candidate must be hard working, enthusiastic and passionate about enriching the lives of pupils with difficulties. The candidate must have strong behaviour management skills and be willing to work on a 1:1 basis with candidates who can often display challenging behaviours and be verbally/physically aggressive towards other pupils and staff.

The role will start as soon as possible and you will be expected to work on a full time basis, ideally you will be willing to provide one voluntary day in School so they can ascertain your suitability for the role.

The successful candidate will benefit from:

* Negotiable pay rates £50.44-58 per day

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
