Teaching Assistant Required in Liverpool

We are currently recruiting for an SEN Teaching Assistant to join a school a Liverpool secondary school catering for students displaying challenging behaviour. This school has a high need for teaching assistants on a daily basis.

This particular school is ideally looking for a TA who is experienced at working with young people who have various Special Educational Needs such as:

  • Autism
  • ADHD
  • Social, Emotional and Mental Health Difficulties
  • Learning Difficulties

The Teaching Assistant should have knowledge and understanding of:

  • the needs of young children;
  • child development and the ways in which children learn;
  • the roles played by various adults in a child's education;

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
