Job description

Teaching Personnel works closely with a Leyland based School which provides education and support for KS3/4 pupil who have a range of needs including; SEMH Difficulties, Autism, Learning Difficulties, ODD and ADHD. The School is smaller than average and currently caters for approximately 40 - 50 pupils. The pupils in this School will display challenging behaviours and therefore the candidate MUST have strong classroom management skills and ideally hold their Team Teach qualification, but this is not essential.

The School is based on the outskirts of Leyland and has close links with the M6 motorway and public transport. The School are seeking a hard working, enthusiastic and empathetic Teaching Assistant to work on a 1:1 and small group basis with pupils who display challenging behaviours.

The candidate suited to this role must be hard working, enthusiastic, looking for a career in education and have a passion for working with children with SEMH Difficulties. The candidate will ideally hold their Team Teach qualification but this is not initially essential.

The successful candidate will benefit from:

- Negotiable pay rates £54 - 64 per day (£9-10 per hour)
