Teaching Assistants required for an immediate start in a Darwen SEN School!

The School caters for KS3/4 pupils with Special Educational Needs including; Autism, PMLD, Physical Disabilities, Attachment Disorder and pupils with SEMH Difficulties. The School is based in the Darwen, East Lancashire area with close links the the motorway and links to public transport.

The candidate will be hard working, have experience supporting pupils with SEN and be willing to provide personal care when required. The candidate must be available full time and will ideally be free to start work within the next 2 weeks. The candidate must be willing to work on a 1:1 basis with pupils who have difficulties and can display challenging behaviours out of frustration.

The successful candidate will benefit from:

- Negotiable pay rates £9-10 per hour

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
