Teaching Assistant required in Chorley

Job description

Teaching Personnel work closely with a Chorley based School which provides support and education for pupils with SEN including; Autism, ADHD, PMLD, Physical Disabilities and SEMH Difficulties.

Teaching Personnel work closely with this School and specialise in providing them with long term, enthusiastic SEN specialists who have a passion for supporting and educating pupils with additional needs. The School itself is based on the outskirts of Chorley with close links to public transport. The School is smaller than average and class sizes are generally under 8 pupils per class.

The role will be full time with a view to becoming a permanent position after initially starting on a supply basis. The School hours are 8.35am - 3.10pm Monday - Friday and sometimes the School have an early finish on a Friday.

The successful candidate will benefit from negotiable pay rates (£54-60) per day, long term position available, rewarding position supporting pupils with SEN. The successful candidate will start as soon as possible and candidates must be looking for a long term role in School.

The candidate suited this role will have experience supporting children or adults with SEN and/or challenging behaviours and they will be looking for a long term role in education.
