A fantastic opportunity has arisen for the right candidate to work as an SEN Support Worker in a mainstream setting within the Brighton area. Your main roles and responsibilities will be to work with a year 1 pupil who has Autism. It is essential that you have empathy for pupils experiencing learning difficulties including social, emotional and behavioural difficulties. A positive attitude is needed to problem solving and be aware of solution focused intervention. All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.
