Teaching assistant required for Behaviour support role in Bury

Job description

Teaching Personnel are currently recruiting experienced Teaching Assistants to work in our Pupil Referral Units and SEMH Schools in the Bury area. We are looking for individuals to work on a supply basis, with the potential for permanent positions available in all of the settings we work with. The students within the settings in question have Social Emotional and Mental Health difficulties and do present challenging behaviour, but the opportunities to build productive and positive relationships are there.

The perfect candidate for this role will have previous experience of working within a SEMH setting either through educational based experience, or working in a voluntary capacity. Holding relevant qualifications such as Team-Teach and/or experience using physical intervention is a desirable attribute.
