Teaching Assistant require for pupils with Autism

Job description

We are seeking to appoint a Learning Support Assistant to provide support for pupils with Autism in Maidenhead.

Your role will be work alongside other ABA tutors to deliver effective ABA programmes to further pupils education. You will support learners with managing behaviour, accessing the curriculum and participating in all timetabled activities.

You must:

  • 1 years experience supporting Special Needs (mainly Autism)
  • Team Teach Trained desirable (not essential)
  • Passionate about supporting and developing pupils
  • Patient and confident
  • Ability to work under pressure

We also require candidates to hold an Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or be willing to do a new application through Teaching Personnel

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.
