Teaching Assistant - Redbridge

Job description

We are currently seeking a teaching assistant who has experience supporting primary students with autism across KS1 and KS2. The special needs school in Redbridge cater to students with autism, Asperger's and some with communication difficulties. Each student attending the school has a tailored education health care plan that is followed to meet the needs of the pupils.

For this role you will be supporting students on a 1:1 basis and assisting the classroom teacher with managing behaviour disruptions. The school are looking for an individual who has a passion for working with children with special educational needs and have a basic understanding of PECS and Makaton techniques.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
