Your role will vary from day-to-day with running Maths & English interventions to supporting mild SEN, from Autism (ASC), ADHD and Dyslexia. You will need to be an ambitious graduate, who is not afraid to be fully involved, and to use your own initiative when working with children.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

  • Primary Teaching Assistant
  • Supporting children from 3-11 years old - 1:1 or small group basis
  • English and Maths booster sessions - KS2
  • General classroom support
  • Working with a range of mild SEN: Autism, ADHD and Dyslexia

PERSON SPECIFICATIONS:

  • Must hold a 1st Class or 2:1 Degree from a reputable University
  • Impressive and consistent academic background in A Levels and GCSEs
  • You must have a real passion for education and teaching children, while showing a hunger to learn and to develop
  • Must be fully committed to the role
  • Good understanding of the Primary curriculum and general knowledge of SEN would be desirable, but not essential

Primary Teaching Assistant | Outstanding Primary School | Morden, Wimbledon

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
