We are currently recruiting for a teaching assistant to join a primary school in the Oldham area for children who have SEMH needs. Students at this school are both male and female and range from nursery age (2) up to 11 years. Students will have a mix of needs which can be profound, complex and challenging. Candidates ideally will have experience working with ASC and PMLD. Experience of S+L and PECS would also be useful as well as Team-Teach training or an equivalent qualification.

The schools ethos is to promote learning through enjoyment and they offer a meaningful and inspiring curriculum based on planned holistic learning. All students at this school will have an Educational Health Care Plan in place for their safety and development.


Duties included in this role will mainly include: supporting students within the classroom in accordance to their education plans therefore candidates will need to be flexible and ready for a challenge.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
