Teaching Assistant - 1 Day a week

This 'Good' school is a high attaining, semi-rural- popular school located in Nottinghamshire around 10 minute drive from West Bridgford.

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join this outstanding team as a Teaching Assistant. This is the perfect chance to develop your in school experience in a supportive and collaborative environment while learning even more from being in a high performing school.

We are looking for an enthusiastic and caring teaching assistant with the ability and willingness to provide personal care if require (for one student).

Duties may include but are not exclusive to:

  • Providing extra support for pupils with special needs (including possible personal care)
  • Helping with classroom prep, board displays and the planning of activities
  • Dealing with any immediate issues that may arise and handling them in the most appropriate way
  • Guiding and monitoring pupil behaviour
  • Supporting and supervising the tasks at hand

What you will need to apply for this role:

  • Experience as a Teaching Assistant or Health care professional
  • Enhanced (Child Work Force) DBS
  • 2 Recent References
  • Have a full UK driving license and have access to a car / or be local to NG12
