Teaching Assistant Needed!

To work alongside small groups of KS2 pupils

Leyland Primary School PR25

A proven track record of working with children in a Primary setting is essential

Are you a driven, enthusiastic individual looking for a new challenge? Teaching Personnel are currently working with a large school in the heart of Leyland, the school is easily from surrounding areas such as Leyland and Chorley.

I have recently met with a Headteacher who is looking for a strong Teaching Assistant to work alongside lower ability pupils in Y6 who are facing the upcoming SATs. The pupil struggles to socialise with other children and needs different strategies implemented in order to build self confidence and creative resources would need to be adapted to suite his needs.

The school is located in the centre Leyland and the majority of children who arrive in school are on free school meals. The role will be to start after February half term and run until May. This will be a five day a week position covering up to 33 hours. The rate of pay is competitive with other roles of this sort start from 8.41 per hour.

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.
