An exciting opportunity has arisen to work in a lovely Primary school in the South Sheffield area.

The role is to start as soon as possible, 5 days per week and the school are looking for a Teaching Assistant to join them on a temporary basis, with a possibility of it leading to a permanent contract. The correct Teaching Assistant will ideally have 3 months experience supporting physical disabilities, Moving & Manual Handling Trained and experience working within a 1 to 1 setting, including Personal Care.

Requirements:

  • Moving & Manual Handling Trained or willing to take the course
  • Experience delivering Personal and Intimate Care
  • Ability to work in a team or on a 1 to 1 basis
  • A passion for working with SEN children

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
