Teaching Personnel are looking to recruit motivated, energetic and ambitious Psychology Graduates for Special Educational Needs and Teaching Assistants roles across Primary schools throughout Monmouthshire.
These available positions range from long term to short term offers, with flexible hours and days of work, to fit your needs, aspirations and your lifestyle. For example : if you are a part time student, we can accommodate you in a part time role.


Located in picturesque area, all of our schools offer fantastic opportunities for young graduates to add relevant experience to their CV, with children aged 3 to 11. We are therefore looking for candidates willing to develop their skills whilst involved in Education system, with excellent professional growth and development opportunities. Ideal candidates must relate to children on an individual level as well as creating a fun and stimulating environment and maintaining high standards of education.

Applicants must :

- Have the legal right to work in the UK
- Hold a Child Workforce Only DBS registered on the Update Service (or be willing to apply for one - full assistance provided)
- Be registered with the Education Workforce Council (compulsory requirement in Wales) - please note that if you are living in England, you can still register with the EWC which will give you the opportunity to work on both sides of the border
- Provide two professional or character references
- Be available to interview and/or trial asap
- Be available to start on short notice
- Be living in Monmouthshire and/or have plans to move to Monmouthshire in the near future and/or be willing to travel to Monmouthshire

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
