Job description

Teaching Personnel are currently looking for TAs to work in a behavioural school in Liverpool. There is a requirement for Teaching Assistants on a short term and long term basis.

You should be able to support engaging lessons and have excellent interpersonal skills along with a positive approach and strong behaviour management.

Teaching Assistant - The Candidate

  • Psychology Graduate Preferred but not essential
  • Previous SEN experience Essential
  • Resilient and Determined Personality
  • Aspiring Educational Psychologist or Teacher

Teaching Assistant- The Role

  • 1:1 Behaviour Support
  • Helping children overcome behavioural barriers
  • Academic and Pastoral Support
  • General Classroom Support

Teaching Assistant - The School

  • 60 pupils on average
  • Higher than average number of SEN student
  • All students have been excluded from mainstream education
  • High percentage of EAL student
