The job it's self require a strong teaching assistant to support pupils in small groups and/or 1:1 support. This is a rewarding position, yet challenging. The ideal candidate will have an understanding of children with Social Emotional and Mental Health either professionally or in the home environment. You will need to have the ability to utilise a range of effective approaches to the management of difficult behaviour.

The school provides for a range of students with variating needs from KS1 to KS4. They pride themselves on their hands on approach to learning and use interactive technologies, excursions and creativity to keep their pupils engaged and focused on their learning.

To be considered for this role you must have relevent experience of working with children and young people with qualifications to support your application. Additionally if you see yourself as energetic with a good sense of humour to keep the pupils engaged and interested in learning, then this will support your application.

You must be able to drive and have a DBS in Child workforce only on the update service.

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.
