Are you a qualified and experienced Teaching Assistant? Teaching Personnel have the perfect opportunity for you to excel your career in the classroom even further. We are working with a local Gateshead primary school who are looking to recruit the right candidate to work 1:1 with a pupil with ASD needs. The pupil loves to learn and enjoys working within the wider class, however, does require some extra support to complete tasks to the best of their abilities.

Candidate requirements:

  • Experience working with ASD
  • Confident working within a full class setting
  • Brilliant verbal and written communication
  • Must be reliable

About the role:

  • Full time Mon – Fri
  • September – July (with the potential to be made permanent)
  • £77 – £85 per day (depending on experience)
  • Supporting a KS2 pupil with ASD on a 1:1 basis

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
