Teaching Assistant

Supply Teaching Assistants required for new academic year, to work at a number of schools across York and Selby, working on short term and long term contracts, including day to day cover and permanent placements. Hours are flexible as they are on a supply basis, so you can accept placements around your current commitments.

Must have experience or qualifications relative to the education sector.

As a Teaching Assistant, your role may vary from day to day, and can included 121 support for pupils with Special Education Needs, delivering maths and English booster sessions for small groups or general classroom duties, assisting the teacher in setting up activities and general admin tasks.

The perfect candidate will have a calm, caring and professional approach to challenging situations, and a passion to make a difference to the potential and educational progress of children, and enjoy seeing the change you bring to their lives at School.

Access to a car and transport is preferred as Schools are in various locations around York and the surrounding area, however not essential providing you can make commitment to planned travel to your work location.
