Do you have experience supporting children with behaviour needs?

Teaching Personnel are working with a client school in the Bournemouth area, who cater for pupils who have been excluded from mainstream education.

The school are looking for Teaching Assistants to provide off-site support for the pupils on a 1-1 basis.

This role involves:

  • supporting the pupil in their work for the day
  • encouraging pupils to engage in work
  • behaviour management
  • liaising with the school
  • driving the pupils to and from the designated location (usually a library)

To be successful in this role you must:

  • have experience working with children with behaviour needs and/or SEN
  • be confident with behaviour management
  • subject knowledge, particularly with core subjects English, Maths and Science
  • have access to a vehicle and have a clean driving licence
  • Business Motor Insurance

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
