Teaching Personnel are looking for an experienced Teaching Assistant to join our client school located in Tameside, Manchester.

The successful Teaching Assistant will work with our client schools Inclusion Team and Special Educational Needs department, supporting students with Special Educational Needs, Additional Needs and Disabilities.

This position will commence in September 2019 and will run throughout the remainder of the academic year on a full time basis. We are looking for a Teaching Assistant who will ensure that the best possible progress is made for all students regardless of their specific needs.

Our client schools Inclusion Team recognises that some learners may need additional support in order to fulfil their potential. Therefore, the successful Teaching Assistant will provide additional support to students with additional needs and SEN to help them achieve their targets. Support will be provided through in class support, small group and one-to-one support. They will also help with the preparation and creation of resources and strategies to support learners of all needs.

The ideal candidate will have experience supporting secondary aged students with Special Educational Needs in a school setting or will have transferable experience.

  • £1200 - £1300 per month

Our client school is a thriving 11-16 school located in Tameside, with over 600 pupils on roll. The school is located a short drive from surrounding areas including East Manchester, Stockport and the High Peak and caters to a diverse background of students from all areas.
