Teaching Assistant
Join a large vibrant secondary school in Manchester seeking to appoint a Teaching Assistant from October The role will involve working with teachers and staff within the classroom to support students, provide general support and help manage classroom behaviour.
We are looking for an enthusiastic graduate who is considering a career in teaching or an experienced teacher looking for an exciting new challenge. If successful, you will be responsible for supporting students with a range of needs inside and outside of the classroom. You will support specific groups of students as required in order to ensure that all students are able to access the curriculum and meet their academic targets. Previous experience of supporting students with Special Educational Needs is desirable but is not essential for this role.
The successful Teaching Assistant will join a successful secondary school located in South Manchester which is situated just a short drive from the city centre. Due to it’s location, the school welcomes students from a variety of cultures and backgrounds and is a positive, inclusive learning environment for all students. The school has an inclusive ethos focused on providing the best quality teaching and learning for students and ensuring that all barriers to learning are removed.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
