Role: Teaching Assistant at a Secondary School
Location: Bromley, South East London
Rate: GBP70 - GBP90 per day
Looking for a highly driven, passionate, and hardworking teaching assistant to join a Secondary School based in Bromley, South East London
Teaching Personnel is working with several clients’ school in the Bromley area, South East London, to recruit a suitable teaching assistant to work with pupils at their Secondary school, starting in September 2020.
This role will suit both a recent graduate looking for an exciting and new opportunity in the educational sector at a passionate and friendly secondary school or a candidate with previous teaching assistant experience on a one-year placement.
The right candidate who gets this opportunity will strengthen their teaching abilities and develop a good relationship with this Bromley, South East London based school, with an aspiration to fill a longer-term position.
The candidate will have an opportunity to work with the Head of Departments and the SENCO to grow and self-develop. This will give this participant a unique and unlike another other, opportunity to climb the educational career ladder, while growing their network.
The most suitable candidate could be working with any age group ranging from year 7 to year 11. This role is an ideal opportunity for a candidate to progress into a future teaching job as it will provides valuable experience in supporting a classroom of pupils with varying abilities.
Ideally looking for an outstanding practitioner and team player who is also:
- Keen to help children with their learning and development
- Possess a relentless desire and self-motivation
- Is highly committed to bettering themselves and others
Requirements
- Drive and determination to exceed expectations
- Subject specific strength (Maths, History, Science etc.)
- Strong subject knowledge desirable
- Keen to help the school grow
- Strong communication skills – both written and verbal
- Must be able to pass a DBS check
- Proof of career history from the past 6 years
- Able to provide 2 good career references from the most recent employers
