Teaching Personnel are looking for a Special Educational Needs (SEN) Teaching Assistant who is experienced in working with pupils with additional needs and challenging behaviours. We are looking for a candidate who is confident, passionate, and driven in supporting children and young people with additional needs. The ideal candidate will have at least two years experience of working in education with some experience working with SEN/challenging behaviours.

The ideal candidate will have prior experience of working in a classroom and have the ability to support children and young people with SEN; in particular those with Autism, Asperger's, Social Emotional & Mental Health or behavioural issues. The candidate may be asked to sit with pupils on a 1:1 basis or in small groups.

-        Be willing to take part in a range of lessons including outdoor activities

-        Willing to learn and get stuck into the role

-        Reliable and trustworthy

-        Happy to work with children with challenging behaviour

-        Available to start as soon as possible

Pay £10.70

Location - Littlehampton

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
