SEN Teaching Assistant Worthing

Are you a motivated and committed individual looking for a teaching role?

Teaching Personnel are working with schools in the West Sussex area who need Teaching assistants to help students with special educational needs such as, SEMH, ADHD, Autism and behavioural difficulties. Day to Day you will be working 1:1 and with small groups, helping them learning the current curriculum and making the classroom an engaging and fun environment. Students individual needs will vary so the successful candidate will be adaptable and empathetic, the ability to level with children and build relationships are key for this role. Although teaching experience is preferred, this role could be suitable for people with experience; caring, support workers, Individual need assistants, looking after someone with special needs or has a genuine passion for educating.

Requirements

-          Experience as a TA or a passion for educating

-          DBS or willing to apply

-          Experience with SEN, SEMH, Autism and Behavioural difficulties preferred

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
