Job description

Teaching Personnel are currently recruiting on behalf of schools across the Derbyshire area who are looking for Teaching Assistants. The roles are long term and permanent as well as short term and temporary. It is all dependent on what you are looking for. We will have a role that suits you and the flexibility you need.

As a Teaching Assistant, you will provide invaluable support to students across all lessons and assist the class Teacher with effective differentiation. You will need to inspire and engage students with class subjects and help to maximise their learning.

The ideal candidate would have;

  • Experience working with children in a school or care setting
  • Experience teaching or supporting students aged 2-19 years old
  • A Valid DBS (or be willing to apply for one)
  • Own transport or ability to use public transport
  • A passion for education
  • The ability to inspire
  • A positive attitude
  • Experience working with people with challenging behaviour
  • Personal experience supporting persons with Special Educational Needs

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
