Teaching Assistant

Are you a qualified Teaching Assistant? Do you have experience supporting primary, secondary or SEN pupils? If so, Teaching Personnel are looking to recruit you for January!

Teaching Personnel are the UK's leading education staffing provider. We work with an array of schools across Hull and Lincolnshire offering both temporary and permanent work, part-time and full-time.

We are holding interviews during November and December for candidates who:

  • Have a Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant Qualification
  • Have a good level of education, GCSEs A*- C (including English and Maths) or equivalent
  • Experience working within schools
  • Good levels of communication
  • Are confident and flexible

It is desired the candidate has:

  • An Enhanced Child Only DBS on the Update Service or the ability to apply for one
  • A full, valid UK driving licence and access to own vehicle
  • Experience managing challenging behaviour
  • Able to travel across Hull
  • Level 2 Safeguarding

Pay: £9 - £12 per hour

Location: Hull

Contract: Temporary with a view to go permanent. Part-time and full-time positions available.

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
